QuoteThe Homes for Ukraine scheme was launched this month, and since Friday 18 March, Ukrainian families have been able to submit applications to come to the UK. People who want to offer accommodation to people fleeing Ukraine can become a sponsor as part of the scheme.

We will have notice of families coming to Wiltshire through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme and where they will be staying. We will also have a role to play in carrying out safeguarding checks and liaising with schools and other services to ensure the families are able to settle into the county. Some refugees will be coming to Wiltshire for safe haven as part of the Ukraine Family Scheme they have family ties here.
