Melksham is a town in the county of Wiltshire. The Melksham area has a population of around 30,000 people employed in modern industry and rural agriculture, healthcare services and education, retail and wholesale products, food and beverage service. Melksham has a train station and bus transportation.
The central location offers easy travel to London (by train - 1.5 hours) and nearby tourist attractions, such as Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge.
I emigrated to England from the United States in 1998, and have lived with my husband in Melksham for more than 20 years. We love it here -- the people are very friendly, and also very compassionate. There are many social activities and groups for both children and adults.
